Why Use Dog Whistle - High Frequency?

Dog Whistle - High Frequency is designed to support training practices. When used consistently as part of a broader training routine, high frequency sounds may help get your dog’s attention and assist in reinforcing commands.

The app allows you to generate whistle tones across a wide range of frequencies, starting from 200Hz. While some devices may support output up-to 22kHz, actual performance depends on your phone’s speaker hardware. Even if your device does not reach the highest frequencies, the app remains fully functional and can still be used effectively at lower frequency levels based on what your dog responds to best.

Frequently Asked Question (FAQs):
Q: What frequency is the best for dog training?

A: Many dogs respond well to high frequency sounds between 12–15kHz. However, every dog is different. You can use the customizable dog whistle app to start testing from around 15kHz and adjust up or down based on your dog’s reaction and comfort.

Q: My dog does not respond to the dog whistle app or dog clicker. What should I do?

A: Some dogs may take time to react to whistle training or clicker sounds. Breed, temperament, and training consistency all play a role. Start with short sessions, remain patient, and use the dog trainer app regularly to build familiarity over time.

Q: How should I use the dog clicker with the whistle?
A: Use the high frequency dog whistle sound to get your dog’s attention, then follow up with a clicker sound to mark and reinforce positive behavior. This combination can be helpful in basic obedience routines.

Note: High frequency sounds, especially at higher volumes or long duration, may cause stress or discomfort to some dogs. To ensure a safe training experience, always use short bursts of sound and stick to moderate frequency levels. This app is meant to support positive and reward based training practices.
